It's finale day! If you'd like to catch a glimpse of Mr. and Mrs. Covington before the show, here's a bit of what's on the TV menu:Finale Red Carpet Live at American Idol.com: Pretty self-explanatory, yes? They're promising "photos live on the site, exclusive galleries, interviews and season recaps." It begins at 6 p.m. Eastern, 3 p.m. Pacific.
Idol Tonight (TV Guide Channel): The Idol Tonight presenters haven't shown any special fondness for Bucky, but perhaps the celebratory red-carpet atmosphere will deter yet another mention of The Hairdo. Begins 6 p.m. Eastern--check cable listings for channel.
American Idol Live from the Red Carpet (your local Fox affiliate): Red carpet arrivals live from the Kodak (duh!) , hosted by the L.A./national Fox folks and/or your local Fox affiliate's entertainment reporter. 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
Syndicated entertainment shows (various)--ET, Extra, Insider, etc.--will likely have an Idol finale story, too. Be sure to check your local listings for channels and times.
A friendly concert-related reminder via MJ's Big Blog: Tickets for the just-added September shows in Atlanta, Hershey, Wilkes-Barre, and Bridgeport go on sale TODAY at 10:00 a.m. Reading, Pennsylvania (9/16) and Portland, Maine (9/21) tickets will be on sale tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. Hop over to Ticketmaster and grab a great seat--good luck!
