Are you sure? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Totally swoonworthy "Best I Ever Had" by Gary Allan. Ended the show. Lovely! Gotta call now, but will recap after calling. Bye!
I really enjoyed this performance, mainly because it was a glimpse of the "Found the One" sound that the non-net listeners might never have heard before from Bucky. His singing definitely conveyed the wistfulness of the lyrics--as always, the band was a bit too loud for everyone tonight, and most of the ballad singers were somewhat overpowered. But all in all, I'm very pleased.
And we got the hat and a good look at his nice blue eyes, thanks to...gasp...actual flattering and dramatic camera work. Finally--do you think that perhaps someone got a memo about him being a contestant in this here competition?
I also liked the subtle browns and blues--the wardrobe worked very well tonight, softer colors for a softer song.
Tell me what you thought! I'll post a full recap (with bad screencaps, if I'm lucky) late tonight, and with any luck I'll have good screencaps for you in the morning....
Hee! He sure has a way with that camera lately, doesn't he? Bucky's getting less bashful up there every Tuesday...just imagine what we're in for in the next few weeks at the rate he's going...
