Tuesday news: springtime, and the winning is easy...

Bucky Covington shares a smile with the crowd in this fun photo taken by the talented Dana, who was there for the Marion, Illinois concert earlier this month. Thanks so much to Dana for sending this shot along!

It's safe to say that we've got what amounts to a mini-lull in progress--but there's a lot to look forward to as the week gets into full gear. Tomorrow, Bucky Covington and headliner Dierks Bentley bring the Throttle Wide Open excitement to the Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico; last-minute seats might be available at GetTix.net.

After that, enjoy Bucky and Dierks at the Red Rock Resort Sandbar in Las Vegas on May 2nd; tickets are on sale at the Station Casinos online box office, or head over to the Red Rock box office on 11011 W. Charleston Blvd in Las Vegas. They'll round out the week with a stop at the big Stagecoach Festival in California on May 3rd--should be exciting, indeed! For all the latest on Bucky's concert tour, be sure to bookmark his official site, and hold on tight--it's going to be a busy summer.

Our friend Midask9 is looking forward to that upcoming summer concert season, too--check out her latest update (including a stunning photo, as always) at It's Good to Be Us today, where her observations about the advantages of early arrival at the festival grounds are a fun and informative read...

A summer festival-style memory, by request; here's "Suspicious Minds" from Covington, VA, captured by the talented hourglass131. Thanks for writing!

Bucky's latest single, "I'll Walk", moved up yet another spot on the Mediabase weighted chart today--it's #63 with a bullet, and those early "pick or flick" wins are a good sign that the beautiful ballad will be part of your local station's regular schedule before long. Keep listening for it where you are--and if you hear Bucky on the radio, let us know!

We'll wind down the morning post with some winning opportunities--Bucky's definitely going places this spring and summer, and with a few mouse clicks, you could be going right along with him! Yesterday, we posted news about an exciting sweepstakes with a trip to the Stagecoach Festival as the grand prize--that one ends tomorrow, so if you're planning to enter, now's the time. Click here for your chance to win, and good luck--hope you can pack your bags fast!

Bucky's also perfoming at this year's CMA Fest nightly concerts at LP Field, and CMT.com wants to send you there in style--click here for details on their "ultimate fan experience" sweepstakes, and enter for your chance to win a passes to CMA Fest, airfare and accommodations, special event tickets, a swag bag and more. The contest ends May 7th.

If it's stuff you want, there's plenty of that on hand, too. Bucky Covington, Phil Stacey and Josh Gracin signed a guitar for the folks at American Idol.com, and it'll be won by a lucky fan--maybe you? This one ends on May 21st. And that CMT One Country charity auction is almost at an end; the stylish Scully Gunfighter shirt that Bucky wore for his "Real Good Man" perfomance on Idol is up for bids, and proceeds will go the One Country volunteer initiative.

More very soon--have a terrific Tuesday!

(Edited to add a huge congratulations to Bucky's labelmate Phil Stacey on the release of his debut album today--we Bucky Covington fans sure remember our April excitement last year with much fondness, and we know Phil's fans are having a blast. All the best!)
