Quick Thursday news: "Throttle Wide Open" rolls on...

Our talented friend Happydays shared shots from the Throttle Wide Open concert in Birmingham in this fantastic Photobucket slideshow--thanks so much!

Bucky Covington, Lee Brice and headliner Dierks Bentley are ready to rock the Casper Events Center in Casper, Wyoming tonight, and if the last few dates on their Western sweep are any indication, it's going to be a wild one, indeed. You might be able to snag a last-minute seat at the venue's site--good luck! Next, the Throttle Wide Open tour makes its way to the Pikes Peak Center in Colorado Springs (note venue change) for tomorrow night's show. And on Saturday, catch Bucky with Dierks at the E Center in West Valley City, Utah--tickets are on sale at Smithstix.com. The tour page on Bucky's official site has all the latest, including newly-announced dates--bookmark it and check back often!

And while you're surfing, check out the new posts (and stunning photos) at Midask9's It's Good to Be Us blog, where there's exciting news of CMT's latest sweepstakes--a must-enter for Bucky's fans and CMA Fest devotees! (What's it all about? Go see...) Country's Chatter has a beautiful photo-illustrated update about early Bucky fan (and fellow Idol graduate) Carrie Underwood and her current tour with the mega-talented Keith Urban.

If you're a MySpace user, there's some bonus online fun in store--everything from a newly revamped Wild 4 Bucky Fanz space (it's listed as private, but the owner assures us all Bucky fans are welcome--send a friend request!) to a generous offer from the very kind Sylvia (aka "Bucky Krazy"--if you have a bulletin from Sylvia, be sure to open it now!) . Bucky's blessed with some of the coolest and most creative fans ever--and you can make friends with them at his official MySpace. Befriend Bucky now, and enjoy some great music, contests and more... (Thanks to Robin for the kind heads-up.)

You can also catch Bucky on TV again tonight, as the CMT Music Awards get another re-run. Tune in at 10:00 PM ET/PT to see Bucky's "A Different World" (featuring that fan-gifted Redneck Guitar--awww!) or enjoy it online at CMT.com.

Finally, an update on "I'll Walk"--it's still lookin' good at #66 with a bullet on the Mediabase weighted charts, and it'll be sounding good on your local country station's "like it or lump it' style test segment any day now! Yes.com is a fun way to keep up with what's happening if you're a streaming radio fan--log on and see where Bucky's music is playing from coast to coast.

More very soon--see you later today!
