Bucky Covington and Mark Miller of Sawyer Brown enjoy some California sun on stage at the 2007 KNCI Country in the Park concert in Sacramento; awesome photo by Minnie. Thanks so much, Minnie! This weekend, the Orange County Register gave us a quick preview of the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California--and now you can win your way there! Here are the details on this exciting sweepstakes:
Glen Campbell and Buckymania invite you to enter to win a weekend at the Stagecoach Festival in Coachella Valley, CA May 1-5th! You and a guest will be flown to Coachella Valley, CA to see Glen Campbell, The Eagles, Carrie Underwood and many others! You'll get airfare, hotel, VIP Tickets to the festival and a copy of the Glen Campbell Box Set The Legacy 1961-2002.
Click here to enter, and good luck--hope to see you there, and be sure to bring your camera...
There's a whole lot of touring going on this year--see Bucky Covington's official Tour page for proof--but today, he and the band are offstage for a bit. (You can enjoy him next in Rio Rancho, NM on the 30th at the Star Center.) Midask9 has some summertime excitement ahead at It's Good to Be Us today--enjoy, and be sure to check out her two fantastic photos du jour...)
No new photos from any of our Western country music stations so far--we'll keep checking!-but a couple of new-to-us photo galleries popped up while we were on the search. Here's a fun set of vintage "private show" photos from Top 40 station WRVW/107.5 The River in Nashville, and a more recent group of listener-contributed Birmingham Throttle Wide Open shots on WZZK's site.
We got a request from a very devoted Rocky Covington fan for this one--here's Rocky, Bucky and the rest of that excellent band performing "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" at the Wildhorse in Nashville during last fall's Raisin' the Bar extravaganza, captured by the very talented hourglass131. Thanks for writing!
We'll close this relatively quiet news day with a few reminders--if you haven't already hopped over to Opry.com for your tickets for Bucky's Tuesday, May 27th performance, stop here and pick up your discount code before you order! This is a reunion show of sorts--Bucky shares the bill with producers/mentors/friends Sawyer Brown and labelmate Phil Stacey that night. (Check out Phil's new CD at Clear Channel now if you'd like to sing along in May...)
More later--have a great Monday!
Its Good to Be Us is not on GAC countdown this morning or a least not on my computer. Someone else check it out so I will know whether they removed it or if it was just a glitch.

Happydays!
Happydays, you're right--I just cleared my cache and tried it again, and now I don't see it there either. I deleted the link in the post. Thanks for the alert!
