American Idol tonight...

Bucky Covington, Bo Bice and Phil Stacey will be part of tonight's American Idol results show, in a filmed segment airing soon. Turn on your TV! We'll have a recap for you here after the show...

Updated: The segment came at about 29 minutes into the hour--Bucky Covington was shown outdoors in Tennessee, in his current music video and in the studio, with "It's Good to Be Us" playing in the background; a bit of his "Fat Bottomed Girls" performance represented his time on Idol. (And the CD cover got a glamour shot, too!) Bucky's wisdom--he reminded us all that you don't have to win on the show to make something of the amazing opportunity it gives you. His blossoming career--two Top 10 hits, a number one album and more--is certainly proof of that...

Phil Stacey spoke of his excitement about his upcoming album, his single "If You Didn't Love Me" and the joys of being with his family, and Bo Bice described his challenges and accomplishments in the years since his Idol season and his musical return to his Southern Rock roots, with a look inside his studio and a sweet introduction to his son. The total time of the segment was about three minutes. (If you enjoyed it, let
Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen, After Midnite. Danny Wright All Night and your favorite local DJ know!)

(Edited again to wish Ramiele Malubay all the best. More soon--Winnie)

  3. Hi, Anon and Anon! (Dina, is that you? Hey, neighbor...:)

My only complaint was that it was too short, of course--but yes, it was wonderful to see Bucky on network TV again! Hope he can come back and sing some time, too--either on Idol or elsewhere.
