The 2008 CMT Music Awards: One week to go, y'all!

We're down to the wire-- only one week remains to get Bucky Covington that belt-buckle trophy he so richly deserves. "A Different World" is up for the USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year title at the 2008 CMT Music Awards, and we have a mere seven days before the poll is closed, the results are tallied, and the winner is decided.

Can't you just see Bucky's big grin as his name is called as the winner that night? Me, too. As Bucky told American Idol Magazine back in 2006--before the eighth-place finish, the Idol tour, the #1 album, the Top 10 singles and the awards nominations ever happened--"If you want to try something, sit back, shut your eyes, then if you can picture yourself doing it, you can do it. But you've gotta see yourself doing it."

We can sure see him holding the belt buckle on April 14th--and best of all, we can help make it happen! The CMT Music Awards are 100% fan-voted, so register at CMT and vote for Bucky---then ask everyone you know to join in--and we'll be able to watch him walk on stage a winner come that star-studded Monday night.
