Thanks to all who joined in at CMT's Power Picks today, Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" won its matchup this morning! We'll stay tuned for more video challenges ahead--in the meantime, catch the winning clip 24/7 on CMT.com. The song's doing well at Billboard too, moving up another spot this week to #14 with a yellow "airplay and sales gains" background on the Hot Country Songs chart. (Thanks to Buckyflowers for the news.)

An update or two for fans planning to attend Dierks Bentley's very hot Throttle Wide Open tour--tickets for the April 26 concert at the E Center in West Valley City, UT go on sale tomorrow, Friday 3/14, at 10:00 a.m. local time. (Lee Brice will be joining Dierks and Bucky for this date.) Tickets ($27.50 to $35) can be purchased by phone at (801) 467-8499 or 1-800-888-8499, or online via www.smithstix.com.

And a reminder about that upcoming Las Vegas show--tickets for Dierks and Bucky's 5/2 concert at the Red Rock Resort "Backyard" go on sale Saturday, 3/15 at the Station Casinos online box office.

Here's the rest of what's happening:

Click here to see Bucky Covington's video, It's Good to Be Us, on CMT LoadedChart news: As we mentioned earlier, "It's Good to Be Us" is #15 on the Mediabase weighted chart and #14 on the Top 500 as of this morning's update. (Y'all know a request nag is going to follow right here, don't you? But this is an important time--an upturn in radio airtime will bring the bullets back to Mediabase where they belong and will solidify those nice weekly chart gains. Definitely worth a call...)

Upcoming shows: Tonight, the Throttle Wide Open tour rocks the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach. If you're headed out that way, have a wonderful night! Tomorrow's show takes place at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa (tickets here), and on Saturday, enjoy Bucky, Dierks and Luke at the Germain Arena in Estero (tickets).

Tickets for most of
Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open dates are available now at Ticketmaster--check Dierks' official website for details on non-Ticketmaster events. Seats for the Jackson, TN Dierks Bentley concert on April 3rd are available at the City of Jackson site. And remember to chcek out Bucky and his excellent band headlining at the Buffalo Bar in St. Joseph, MO on Friday, March 21--tickets are on sale at Biggins Sports Bar & Grill (816 232-4450) and at the Buffalo Bar at (816) 390-8444.

By request, here's Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington performing "Every Rose has Its Thorn" at the Longbranch Saloon last fall; video courtesy of hingez25. Thanks for writing!

On the tube and around the net: The Covington Times has two terrific photos for your today--one excellent radio station shot and one terrific Bucky and Rocky duet portrtait from an unknown photographer--along with some savvy chart and Yes.com wisdom and a fun look back at the first Country Weekly "hot" poll we participated in--with a write-in vote, no less. What a difference a year makes, yes?

A little while ago we spoke about Bucky's tourmate Dierks Bentley's participation in a very important concert in Providence to benefit the Station Family Fund; Country's Chatter has an update on the event, along with a great photo from the night.

Midask9's got some fantastic photos from her files for you at her It's Good to Be Us blog today--enjoy the images and her wise words about the value of radio requests. (Thanks to you both for the kind shout-outs...awww.)

Bucky Covington's next "It's Good to Be Us" quiz question will be posted at his MySpace blog at 9 p.m. ET tonight. Get the details on the contest in this post, then stand by for your chance to qualify and win!

Click here to vote for Bucky at GAC.comVote for Bucky: Bucky's fans have got lots on our collective plates for sure--but there's always time to give Bucky's "It's Good to Be Us" a round of applause at GAC Top 20 Country Countdown and at CMT's Top 20 Countdown.
