Many thanks to all the requesters, voters and emailers who helped return those two beautiful red bullets to Bucky's "It's Good to Be Us" today. He's currently #16 on both the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts, and back in forward motion. We've got a bit of momentum to work with, and some post-countdown requests are an excellent way of doing just that...

An update on that Country Weekly "country's hottest bachelor" survey--a buddy who has the current issue says Bucky is indeed in the special section devoted to the most popular picks, but she didn't say who the #1 choice might have been! We'll have to hit the newsstands for the answer to that "hot" question--look for the March 24th issue, with Alan Jackson on the cover.

Here's a fast recap of today's happenings:

Upcoming shows: No fresh news to report here--hope there's some coming soon!--so we'll go with some now-familiar reminders. Bucky and his excellent band will rock the Buffalo Bar in St. Joseph, MO on Friday, March 21. Only 500 tickets are being made available for this show, and they are going fast. Snag yours now at Biggins Sports Bar & Grill (816 232-4450) or Buffalo Bar at (816) 390-8444.

Las Vegas fans can look forward to enjoying Dierks Bentley and Bucky at the Red Rock Resort; according to the venue's concert calendar, they'll play the "Backyard" on Friday, May 2nd. Tickets (21 and over) go on sale Saturday, 3/15 at the Station Casinos online box office.

The Throttle Wide Open tour hits the highway again on Thursday, 3/13 with a stop at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach; general admission tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster. Tickets for most of Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open dates are available now at Ticketmaster--check Dierks' official website for details on non-Ticketmaster events. Seats for the Jackson, TN Dierks Bentley concert on April 3rd are available at the City of Jackson site.

By special request, here's Bucky Covington and Rocky Covington singing "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville; video by the generous hourglass131. Thanks for the email!

Click here to see Bucky Covington's video, It's Good to Be Us, on CMT LoadedOn the tube and around the net: Bucky's next "It's Good to Be Us" quiz question will be posted at his MySpace blog at 4 p.m today. The first MySpace poster who answers the question correctly in Bucky's MySpace comments wins an autographed picture and a grand prize entry, and one random winner of those same prizes will be chosen from all the posters who've answered the question correctly--but you've got to post your answer in the blog before Bucky's quiz-solving video appears.

The grand prize winner gets two concert tickets and a pair of meet and greet tickets, too. Watch Bucky's video for "It's Good to Be Us", and study up for your chance to win!

There are plenty of great CRS New Faces showcase memories and photos being shared at Bucky's official fan club forums (fan club membership and login required), courtesy of the very kind Buckymouse and Happydays, who were there for the fun. Their recollections are must-reads! Buckymouse also mentioned a very cool industry award Bucky won this weekend--he was named Major Label Breakout Artist of the Year by a leading panel of reporting stations. Congrats to Bucky!

Enjoy a stunning CRS New Faces shot of Bucky by Happydays and a stylish Freedom Fest snap of Rocky Covington by Blu at The Covington Times today, along with a celebration of the first anniversary of Bucky's Grand Ole Opry debut. (Our recap's here. Has it really been a year? Wow. Time flies when you're having fun on your way to the top...)

What's the coolest radio station nickname ever? That's pretty subjective, but we think the one that awaits you at Midask9's It's Good to Be Us blog is a strong contender...

And your next chance to enjoy the encore airing of Bucky's
1/12 Opry performance happens tonight on GAC's Grand Ole Opry Live at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Click here to vote for Bucky at GAC.comVote for Bucky: Feel free to give "It's Good to Be Us" some sweet post-CRS love at GAC Top 20 Country Countdown and at CMT's Top 20 Countdown today--every vote helps.

And of course, the 2008 CMT Music Awards are calling, loudly--chances are good that if you're a regular Buckymania reader, you're all registered and voted up...but how about your parents, kids, spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend, bff, work buddies, play buddies, other buddies, postal carrier, coffee shop waiter...you see where we're headed, here. Register at CMT and vote now---and recruit as many co-voters as you can!

More very soon--and I really do mean very soon, this time. Have a great Sunday afternoon!
