Bucky Covington on stage at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach last night; photo courtesy of the very kind Buckwild08, who had a terrific time! You can see more in her great Photobucket gallery. Thanks so much!
(Click here to get the badge at left for your MySpace, webpage or email signature.)Here's a smile to start off our Saturday morning; Bucky Covington's "It's Good to Be Us" is sitting pretty at #14 on the Mediabase weighted and Top 500 charts, and those bullets are looking a tiny bit plumper every day. The Top 10 quest is on--the only real question is "how soon can we get there?" We'll keep requesting and doing our best to make it happen as quickly as we can...
Bucky's also got a connection to another song currently on the charts--if you were able to watch the Crook & Chase show on RFD earlier this month, you saw him with legendary Alabama lead singer (and current solo artist) Randy Owen. Bucky's beautiful ballad, "I'll Walk", was written by Brent Wilson and Lonnie Lee Fowler; turns out that Mr. Wilson co-wrote Randy's very touching single, "Braid My Hair" with Chris Gray. Yep, Nashville's a small world, and it's a generous one, too--100% of the publishing proceeds from "Braid My Hair" will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Randy Owen's site features a special page about this song, including two videos--one with a "making of" feature, and one of a chat with the songwriters--and a link to a journal where visitors can share their stories of strength and hope. Check it out today--a special song for a worthy cause!
Here's the rest of what's happening today:

If you'd like to see more of Bucky in words (and pictures) in Country's Chatter, drop a line or two in their comments section and let the newspaper know. They're very happy to spotlight beautiful shots from concertgoing fans!
