(Click here to get the badge at left for your MySpace, webpage or email signature.)Thanks to Laura for passing the word on the new Bucky Covington audio clip gracing the feature-packed front page of AfterMidnite.com today. Look for the yellow "The Country Insider" audio box on the right side of the page with Bucky's photo, and click the audio player to hear a brief bit of awards-show philosophy. (Can't argue with Bucky's logic, there!)
Here's a quick look at the rest of what's happening today:
Chart news: Bucky's single, "It's Good to Be Us", is poised to make it to that Top 10 milestone soon; it's #15 on the Mediabase weighted chart and #14 on the Top 500 again this morning, with two bullets that could use some serious plumping up! Those syndicated country radio shows are all going to need a dash of Bucky's delightful single tonight, so be sure to give Lia, Whitney, and Blair a call or an email this evening. (Blair Garner's After Midnite also takes AIM requests--a really fun way of getting your favorite song--and your screenname--on the air.)Upcoming shows: Only a few days to go until the Throttle Wide Open tour starts up again with a party at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach on Thursday, 3/13; snag your general admission entry at Ticketmaster. Tickets for most of Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open dates are available now at Ticketmaster--check Dierks' official website for details on non-Ticketmaster events. Seats for the Jackson, TN Dierks Bentley concert on April 3rd are available at the City of Jackson site.
That Buffalo Bar show in St. Joseph, MO is fast approaching, as well--Bucky and his band will rock the house on Friday, March 21. Only 500 tickets were made available for this intimate show--there aren't many club dates on the schedule this season, so you'll want to be there! Tickets are $20, and can be purchased at at Biggins Sports Bar & Grill (816 232-4450) or Buffalo Bar at (816) 390-8444.
