Coffee break news: Let's hear it for the band (and a semi-personal note)

Jeff Cease, Ducky Medlock, Bucky Covington and Steve Cook on stage at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach last week; photo by the very kind Buckwild08, who shares more of her great images here. Thanks again!

Huge thanks to the anonymous commenter who left a note today about Steve Cook's excellent journal at ShinyBass.com--she noticed that today's entry featured a fun bit about an upcoming TV appearance! Look for Steve, Ducky. Rocky and Bucky on a future edition of Fisher's ATV World. It'll air on the Outdoor Channel later this year, but head to Steve's splendidly-written journal now for some wild behind the scenes stories you won't see on TV--and bookmark it and his YouTube profile for lots more from the road, in words and pictures.

She also mentioned that it'd be sweet to show some appreciation for the talented musicians who share the stage with Bucky Covington, and that's an excellent idea. Jeff Cease's MySpace is private (there's a concise mini-bio at Wikipedia), but Ducky Medlock, Steve Cook and Tom Hurst all have profiles that'll give you a glimpse of their impressive musical worlds. Jefferson Jarvis' site features a bio, photos and terrific original music; and Rocky Covington's official site is a feast for the eyes, ears and funnybone.

Finally, here's a show of apprecation for you. Even when I grab hold of the wrong end of the stick entirely (as I did this afternoon--my apologies to our kind commenter for my misinterpretation!), I know very well that this blog would be blank and empty without you and all of Bucky's fans helping each other with info and news. Please feel free to add, update, correct, critique and contribute any time--it's all good and it helps this site to be a better resource for Bucky's fans--and the band's fans, too. Thank you so much--you are appreciated beyond words!

More very soon--Winnie
