Bucky's MySpace blog contest--hurry over now...

Bucky Covington smiles out at the crowd during the 2007 Southern New Mexico State Fair; photo courtesy of the kind folks at KGRT in Las Cruces, who sponsored the smash-hit show. Big thanks to KGRT for bringing Bucky to the beautiful Southwest!

Just a reminder--there are two ways to win during the Bucky Covington "It's Good to Be Us" contest, now in progress at his MySpace blog! If you missed your chance to be the first to post the answer to tonight's question at 9 p.m. ET, you can still be included in the random drawing--a second daily winner will be chosen at random from everyone who answers the question correctly, but you've got to post your answer before Bucky posts his answer video. Get over there fast, and good luck! (If you're browsing this post after the fact, no worries--your next chance happens at 4 pm ET tomorrow.)

We'd also like to thank Hildi and company for tonight's conference call from Myrtle Beach--sounds like it was a wild show! Stay tuned for news on future conference calls as the Throttle Wide Open adventure continues...

And of course, we'll add a quick reminder about requests--Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen, Danny Wright All Night, After Midnite and our favorite local country station DJs need to know we're loving "It's Good to Be Us" on the radio...

Have a great night!

Happy 2 Year Anniversary. You have done more for Bucky Covington's career than anyone I know. You have been in his corner since the beginning and have been my personal source for all things Bucky since I shyly looked up his name on the internet. Thank you so much for this tremendous gift of time , love and beauty that you have given us all under the name of "Buckymania"!! We love you Winnie! bf

  5. Anon and Buckyflowers, thank you for the good chart news and the sweet anniversary wishes! (What better way to celebrate two years of Bucky Covington making people take notice of his talents than a good move up the charts?)

It's been such a pleasure doing this--I've met so many lovely people and we've all shared the joy of watching Bucky's star rise together. Honestly, I owe you the thanks! :)

Take care and see you at a show soon, I hope!

Wow, has it been 2 years since I contacted you hoping to find out where I could get one of those "biscuit and sweet tea" tee shirts I saw Crystal wearing in the audience? Who would have thought that this blog would still be chugging along stronger and more informative than ever after those stomach turning Top 12 Idol days? Not a day goes by that I don't check in here to read your updates, gentle cheerleading and wise musings on all things Bucky. Bucky is one lucky guy to have you in his corner. Happy 2nd Anniversary, Winnie!

  7. Beesims, hi and thanks! I remember your email well--and to this day I am kicking myself for not getting a "sweet tea" shirt when I could. (I am a proud owner of a "Richmond County Idol" BSTee, though :)

It's been a wild ride watching our "fave rave" on the rise, hasn't it? Thank you for stopping in and being here, and most of all for being a fab friend.
