Click here to see Bucky Covington's video, It's Good to Be Us, on CMT LoadedChart news: "It's Good to Be Us" graces the #16 spot on the Mediabase weighted chart this morning, and stands at #15 on the Top 500 . Yep, there's a respected member of country music royalty poised to do a pole vault on the latter chart, but even with that in mind, we've got some sweet momentum going. Keep requesting, everyone! The evening syndicated country radio shows and all our local DJs are are more likely than ever to play Bucky's tune--at this point, it's got proven staying power and a steady upward climb. (Always more fun to request a genuine hit, isn't it?)

Bucky and Rocky in Kentucky: this great Covington Brothers duet shot was taken at Fergie's in Lebanon KYby the very kind Buckybaby. Click here to see more of her images from the show. Thanks again, Buckybaby!

Upcoming shows: We'll be checking for more of those "not yet on the schedule" dates; it looks like another very busy summer is ahead for Bucky and the band. (This is officially unconfirmed, but this Journal Gazette and Times-Courier article indicates that the council in Charleston, Illinois is studying the possibility of having Bucky perform at the Red White & Blue Days festival on July 3rd--fingers crossed for all his fans in the area...)

Seats for most dates on Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open tour are available now at Ticketmaster. (Be sure to check Dierks.com and your local venue for more info!) Among the non-Ticketmaster events--tickets for the Jackson, TN Dierks Bentley concert on April 3rd are offered at the City of Jackson site, and general admission tickets for Bucky's 2/22 headlining date at The Machine Shop in Flint, MI can be purchased at www.etix.com.

On the tube and around the net: Be sure to mark your calendar for Bucky's return to CMT Insider this coming Saturday at 1 p.m. ET. Online, The Covington Times has a gorgeous photo from Bucky's recent GAC Top 20 visit with Nan Kelley, Buckybaby's fun shot of Bucky and Rocky Covington onstage at the Indiana State Fair, and some very interesting buzz about Mediabase and Bucky's "next single" possibilities. Midask9 has a photo of some very cool fan buttons (those are great!) and some key request suggestions at It's Good to Be Us today. (Thanks for the compliment--you're very kind!)

And Nikki's Simply a Bucky Fan sidebar is a treasure trove of contact info--huge kudos to her for putting it together! (We'd also like to thank Nikki for this link to the Hillbilly Brand blog, where their writer had some very nice things to say about the friendly backstage experience with Dierks, Bucky and Luke...)
