Concert raves: a review from the Palm Beach Post...

Thanks, Pizzi!By request, Bucky Covington on stage last spring at Hershey Park; click here to enjoy a gorgeous gallery of concert photos by the very kind Pizzi. Thanks, Pizzi!

The Palm Beach Post's Janis Fontaine was on hand for Dierks Bentley's Throttle Wide Open stop in Pompano Beach last night, and she had some very positive things to say about Dierks, the crowd, and Bucky Covington's opening set:

Critics and fans loved Covington's debut album, and he drew heavily on it for his set. Covington is extremely likable in person, lively, funny, engaging, flirty.

When he jumped off the stage and moved through the crowd, it almost seemed to swallow him up, and he didn't seem to mind.

Covington is like your much-cooler brother, who is taking you along for a ride. He is confident, but not cocky, has a boyish smile, a non-threatening manner, and the best hair in the business. It all adds up to the 'It Factor' everyone covets.

Read her entire review here--and if you're interested in making a night with Dierks, Luke Bryan and Bucky part of your winter plans, check out Dierks' tour page, Bucky's official site and Ticketmaster for more information. A huge thanks to Hildi and her helpers for sharing the fun with Bucky's fans via conference call today!

It's evening here on the East Coast--time for those great syndicated country radio shows to put the beat into your weekend fun. If you'd like Bucky's single to be a part of your Saturday night drive, be sure to request "It's Good to Be Us" before you head out the door. Chances are good that either Lia, The Big Time with Whitney Allen, Danny Wright All Night or the Bo Reynolds Show are playing on your local country station now, or will be very soon--their sites all have handy contact information, and their shows reach the whole country. Let them know you're listening...

Enjoy!--Winnie
