Tuesday news: A view from Coshocton, answered questions, fun at Team Covington and more...

Bucky Covington reaches out at the KNCI Country in the Park concert in Sacramento in another beautiful shot by Minnie, who shares more of her gorgeous images from the performance in her must-see Photobucket gallery. Thanks again, Minnie! Bucky Covington's debut CD is in stores now, and his music video is available for online viewing at CMT.com and Yahoo Music. You can buy Bucky's album at Amazon, Best Buy , iTunes, WalMart Music and Target, hear the full version of his single "A Different World" at CMT and GAC, or enjoy samples of songs from the CD at Bucky's official MySpace. A copy of Bucky Covington can be ordered through his official site or via his official fan club.

We'll start things off on a fun note, with this enjoyable article from the Coshocton Tribune about Bucky Covington's show last night at the Coshocton County Fair:

COSHOCTON - As it has for several other country music artists over the years, including Garth Brooks, the Coshocton County Fair provided a perfect venue Monday for up-and-coming Bucky Covington.

Covington ripped through a set which had the grandstand rocking and those with track seating dancing in the aisles.

That despite a heavy downpour which lasted more than an hour, and some technical difficulties which pushed Covington's debut before the local crowd back to nearly 9 p.m.

"Ohio is a great place for country crowds, they love their country music," said Covington. "And I love coming to smaller towns like Coshocton, because the people are so appreciative."

There's also a meet and greet shot accompanying the story--congratulations to all who enjoyed the show and made the papers!

Your next chance to catch Bucky, Don, Rocky, Hans and Shaun live (and help out a great cause, too) happens here:

After that, it looks like we've got a mystery show. (Updated 10/3: Gruvr is no longer showing any events for the 8th, so maybe that mystery is solved. We'll keep you posted on any new schedule changes!)

Bucky's answered his first fall question from fans on his official MySpace blog this morning in glorious audio format--click here to hear what he had to say about his songwriting inspirations. An answer a day will be posted for 10 days, beginning this morning, so check back often. And of course, post any questions you have (as a comment here) and you may get to hear the answer to yours...

Bucky's new single "It's Good to Be Us" is once again gracing the Mediabase charts at--you guessed it-- #39 on both the weighted and Top 500 listings, with bullets. Keep requesting "It's Good to Be Us" at your favorite local or streaming country station, y'all--and feel free to call up your favorite syndicated evening country shows with those requests, too.

We'll close with a link to Team Covington, where our friend Kathy will be posting her recap of the Coshocton show later today--right now she's got a cute photo of the Covington brothers that's guaranteed to raise a smile, along with a brand new video. Have fun!

Edited to add a link to Happydays' great recap of the Big Spring Jam show at the Fox board-- and here's another look at her beautiful concert photos and Buckyflowers' lovely slidehow while we're at it. A hearty round of applause and thanks to Happydays, Kathy, Buckyflowers and all who've been so generous with concert memories.

And another update--click here for a very sweet recap from a first-time Covington concertgoer at the CMT boards today. Sure sounds like the Coshocton show was a big hit with longtime fans and new fans, too...

More soon--have a beautiful Tuesday!
